Northern Europe Visual Merchandising Manager

Role Mission

Reporting directly to the Hub General Manager this is an incredible and unique opportunity to lead the aesthetic and commercial visual merchandiser for the Northern Europe Hub. Taking ownership for countries such as the UK and Ireland our Visual Merchandising Manager will be responsible for all the Visual Merchandising activities, updates and strategy implementation within the Hub.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage the execution of consistent window schemes to be applied across all Gucci stores across multiple channels, accordingly to HQ Visual Merchandising guidelines and Hub commercial needs
  • Manage a large team of talented and passionate VMs coaching and developing them to their full potential
  • Partner with Retail and all the Hub departments to carry out the visual merchandising for all operated stores
  • Manage seasonal visits to franchisee stores in order to train the sales force and set standards for the initial store set up
  • Work within merchandising guidelines in order to balance creative image with optimization of retail densities across all categories
  • People Management of Hub Visual Merchandising Corporate team and all the VM in Store, with a strong focus on development and training


Key Requirements
  • At least 7 years of international experience in a similar role within a luxury fashion brand
  • Strong creative hand with the ability to research and communicate maintaining the Gucci image for all the Hub
  • Experience in leading and developing a large team
  • Ability to work across all levels of the business - drive commercial success
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface regularly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Photoshop would be considered a plus
