As a Data Analyst for our Marketing Intelligence Team, you will play a key role in improving the effectiveness of our marketing processes and support data driven decision making by providing meaningful data analyses to our Lounge Demand organization.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • As the owner of our budgeting process, you will be responsible for the distribution of the Lounge Marketing Budget to various marketing channels and countries. This involves constant improvement of the existing logic, target setting, KPI development, budget allocation and performance monitoring.
  • Planning of long term Marketing Budget needs by improving and driving our forecasting efforts.
  • Improve our current reporting and analytical landscape by using state of the art methods whilst driving innovation in the area of marketing & analytics.
  • Work closely together with our Marketing Channels, Lifecycle, Marketing Controlling and other Demand Analytics Teams to enable data driven decision making.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Academic degree in an analytical subject, e.g. economics, business analysis, statistics, mathematics, marketing or its equivalent.
  • Experience in a relevant field: ideally at least 3 years in a similar analytical context with comparable questions to the area of budgeting and target setting, e.g. in marketing intelligence and data analytics, as well as working and interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Marketing and statistical methods (e.g. databases and data structures, statistical data analysis); Must have good knowledge of SQL and experience with R or Python.
  • Additional experience in forecasting and expertise with visualization tools like Tableau is a plus.
  • Your work showcases your quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced & changing environment. You are able to easily adapt to change and work independently.

As part of Demand Analytics, the Marketing Intelligence Team focuses on monitoring and analyzing the performance of our online and offline marketing. Using all available information and directly collaborating with many other teams across the business, we assess the value of each marketing campaign to create a short and long term marketing strategy.
