Role:

Right now, we are looking for an Operations Manager to help us organise, improve and scale our operations in the growth and marketing functions.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing processes, measurement frameworks and sharing best practices across local and global marketing teams. We are looking for an individual that can be both strategic as well as process driven and can partner up with a wide group of stakeholders across geographies.

Responsibilities  

  • Drive end-to-end operational excellence, i.e., defining process, KPIs, ceremonies, measurement frameworks and calendars 
  • Partner up with Insights to drive a data driven approach to our operations and activity and regular as well as ad hoc reporting
  • Steer best practice sharing & adoption across functions and geographies
  • Deep dive into scalability of our practices and lead time planning and make actionable recommendations to continuously improve our ways of working, including tooling
  • Help us operationalise scalable processes and new best practices
  • Be an agent for change and drive continuous iterative improvement 
  • Drive individual project work-streams supporting individual teams across geographies

Requirements

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in cross-functional marketing operations in a Tech business environment
  • A challenger mindset to help us evolve our ways of working and introducing new practices fit for purpose
  • Proven track record of driving impact through change management and introduction of new processes in a matrix organisation
  • Flexible and adaptable to always changing business challenges
  • Self-starter with a strong bias to action
  • Strong problem solver that goes beyond the obvious
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once with high level of commitment and great prioritisation skills
  • Hands-on, organised, and detail-oriented while not losing sight of the big picture
  • Strategic mindset
  • A passion to create world class operations to enable us to connect and grow our community
  • Strong cross-functional leadership with proven influencing skills. This person needs to be able to align stakeholders across various groups in the organisation
  • Good understanding and experience in driving marketing effectiveness

Preferences

  • Previous experience in fashion and marketplaces is a strong plus
  • Insight into Millennial and Gen Z behaviours and attitudes is a plus
  • Previous experience in a scale up or a business in hypergrowth
