What You Get To Do Every Day

• Measure customers for size, fit garments on customers and mark areas requiring alterations and assists with minor alterations/repairs.
• Ensure that alterations are routed properly, deadlines are met, and that the customers experience is world-class.
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, construction, and trend in a professional and friendly manner.
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit and support the company's goals and objectives.
• Partner with Expert Service leaders to scale and diversify the growth of the company's tailoring and alterations initiatives.
• Audit and inspect garments prior to altering and the completion of work done by a local tailor shop in partnership with our Service Manager

What You Bring To The Role

• Advanced experience in an alteration operations or an environment that offered exposure to a wide variety of garment styles and types of textiles, fabrics, and materials. 
• 10+ years experience with alterations and tailoring, formal training preferred
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work both independently and as a vital member of the team
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Possess a sense of urgency to work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced team environment
• Flexibility with shop schedule based on the needs of the business
• Up to date on current best practices and technology for alterations
• Ability to learn new skills
• Entrepreneurial and customer oriented
