As a key member of the People Leadership team, the Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is responsible for the development, planning, deployment, coordination, and administration of critical projects, activities, training and mentorship throughout TRR. You will support efforts to ensure that people decisions are free of bias, harassment, and discrimination. In partnership with key internal stakeholders you align values and drive others in the creation of a more equitable, inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and engaged. As a visionary that can set company goals using employee and applicant feedback across many intersections of social identities - Gender Identity, Race/Ethnicity, Sexual Orientation, Disability, Family, Socioeconomic Status, Veteran Status, and Age you drive measurable results for the business.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Distill thought leadership and develop the charter and playbook in support of advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion coordinating analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to inform your efforts
  • Create clear and consumable D&I metrics for internal stakeholders and cross-functional workstreams
  • Mitigate any known issues by driving change management where found and educate and cascade your findings throughout the team
  • Provide employee forums for open and honest two-way communication when issues arise
  • Engage vendors as necessary to meet the needs of the business and hire staff where appropriate
  • Help build ERG program framework to provide support, enhancing career development, networking and overall contributions aligning with the mission, values, goals, and objectives of the company
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to advance D&I efforts
  • Define policies and directives that mitigate bias, increase equitable outcomes, and foster respect and inclusion
  • Create a baseline for leadership accountability for outcomes, and reinforce positive behaviors cascading these expectations through the teams
  • Be a mentor, coach, and consultant to team members, department leaders and colleagues, and other partners in support of advancing D&I


What You Bring To The Role
  • BS/BA and a MINIMUM of 5 years of professional experience with an emphasis leading or managing a program around diversity, equity, and inclusion
    3 years must have been in a supervisory role, supervising staff involved in the more difficult and complex matters associated with human resources with an emphasis in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
  • Previous experience coaching executives on matters related to D&I
  • You have designed and built a successful, scalable program and initiative in a high growing technology, retail, or consumer goods entity
  • Your work spans geographic boundaries and you are comfortable with distributed employees or varied disciplines and levels, easily presenting ideas to a wide variety of audiences
  • Possessing a high EQ you are an active listener, using expert judgment and diplomacy in all interactions both written and verbal
  • Prioritizing objectives and orchestrating diverse groups, you establish relationships with key partners and get results through collaboration and influence
  • Staying at the forefront of D&I, you remain up-to-date on emerging issues and can quickly evaluate new ideas incorporating that knowledge into TRR workstreams
  • Strong program and project management skills and operational rigor
  • Able to manage ambiguity and complex problem-solving, you handily merge ideas with strategic plans and deliverables
  • International experience is a plus
