JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Logistics service manager

Organization / Department: SWM

Main purpose of the function:

To manage outsourced logistics services (regular and secure transportation, courier and expedition, warehousing), including business processes analysis, strategic planning, control and operational activities, budgeting and management reporting.

Job responsibilities:

Strategic goals and tasks:
  • Keeping the outsourced warehouse optimal in terms of content and cost, constant analysis and regular reporting to management and business
  • Supporting interaction between warehouse and transport providers and freight forwarders
  • Keeping the cost of transportation under control, regular reporting
  • Handling transfers and deliveries of the goods between locations, warehouses and POS
  • Developing and supporting services provided by courier/expedition partners.


Requirements:
  • Higher education (technical, logistics preferably)
  • Deep knowledge in stock logistics, transportation, import of goods
  • Relevant experience in logistics not less than 3 years
  • Native Russian
  • Fluent English as a must
  • PC literate (advanced knowledge of Excel as a must)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking, pro-active attitude
  • Focused, target-oriented with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent project management and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functions
  • Positive attitude, team player.
