The RealReal is seeking a Wholesale Assistant to support the scaled growth of New Initiatives, including brand-direct and wholesale across all categories. You are a motivated self-starter who is looking for an opportunity where you can combine your business acumen with your passion for sustainable, luxury fashion. With your previous experience in retail and/or digital merchandising, you possess a strong foundation and are ready to take your career to the next level working in a fast-paced environment.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Support the wholesale team by managing the ordering and logistics for wholesale and brand-direct
  • Track purchases and report on open to buy versus budget
  • Report weekly on sales performance, performing financial analysis to maximize profit & margin and identify ongoing opportunities within the business
  • Perform market analysis to identify new category opportunities, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership
  • Perform allocation to retail stores, analyzing in-store sales and acting as the liaison for the wholesale division with store leadership
  • Monitor product flow through the operations pipeline, managing logistics by scheduling shipping, payments and deliveries
  • Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, retail, planning, accounting, creative, editorial and operations teams

What You Bring To The Role
  • 3+ years prior experience in a fast-paced retail buying or merchandising environment with strong administrative skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Proactive approach, with strong problem solving abilities
  • Clear communicator who enjoys working independently as well as with a team
  • Passionate about the luxury & sustainable fashion industries
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
