Primary Purpose:The Merchandising Strategy team facilitates the development of Coach's long term growth strategy and more immediate operational decisions by providing fact based analysis, consumer insights, and practical recommendations to key decision makers across the Coach organization. Projects in this group focus on how these insights and recommendations can drive decisions for product creation and the go-to-market strategy.

The team conducts detailed analyses of internal data, performs primary consumer research and investigates overall market trends to help the Merchandising team and business partners across all functional areas and geographies develop key insights to better inform product creation and execution of product strategies across the organization.

- Work with Merchandising team, Strategy group, and business partners globally to proactively identify, develop and drive strategies and initiatives that will result in profitable growth for the company.
- Drive execution of both strategy and consumer insights projects both as a project manager and strong individual contributor.
- Prioritize work streams across multiple projects.
- Develop key hypotheses and support/disprove them through data analysis and insights.
- Develop strong relationships with business partners at all levels.
- Manage projects by working with external market research vendors
- Support Senior Management in strategic decision-making

- Experience managing projects using both quantitative and qualitative data sources, including ability to provide direction and successfully generate results working with internal or external resources.

An outstanding professional will have...
- Minimum of bachelor's degree.
- 2-4 years work experience, with ideally 2 years in management consulting, investment banking or strategy at a consumer focused company
- Significant experience in modeling and creating compelling insights from data
- Strong lateral-thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate innovative insights from rigorous analysis
- Previous experience with or willingness to learn more advanced analytic tools such as Microsoft Access, SAS, or SQL
- Global experience, a plus
