OVERVIEW: The Sr. Financial Analyst FP&A, reporting to the Manager of FP&A, has a key role in RNA. The position requires strong technical skills, an Accounting background and strong knowledge of SAP. The Sr. Financial Analyst FP&A is specifically responsible for supporting the Shared Services functions and all levels of personnel within these functions. This role is highly visible within the organization, requires strong communication skills and a high level of attention to details.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Richemont FP&A Sr. Financial Analyst is a key member of the Richemont Shared Services team through:
    • understanding the financial and operational functions of Shared Services, including Management, IT, HR, Building Office Services, Finance/Accounting, Logistics and Customer Service.
    • supporting all levels of Richemont personnel (locally and Centrally) regarding these financial and operational functions
    • trending and analyzing key performance indicators
    • reviewing financial and operational metrics
    • assisting in creation and calculation of functional allocations
  • Lead the planning processes (quarterly forecasts and annual budget) for expenses and capex; coordination and review with functional department heads; along with the Manager of FP&A, responsible for submission and follow-up with local executive management and corporate HQ.
  • Expense analysis, review of variances to budget/forecast/prior year focusing on trends, rest-to-go, proposals for improvement/control
  • Balance sheet analysis and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
  • Month end close responsibilities, including collaborating with Accounting to book accruals and reclasses
  • Review and analyze capital spending; monitor trends vs budget/forecast as well as overall project spend; support and assist with newly implemented PO process for local functions
  • Monthly reporting to local executive management and corporate HQ; point of contact for supporting documentation and follow-up questions
  • Location: NY or Shelton

YOUR PROFILE:
  • BS Accounting or Finance
  • 3 - 5 years of experience, with solid basis in accounting, progressing into finance/FP&A
  • Strong base knowledge of accounting, finance, and operational principles
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of management and foster relationships with financial and operational personnel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced environment
  • Advanced Excel, Microsoft Analysis
  • SAP strongly desired (or similar ERP)
  • Excellent analytical skills with a thorough understanding of reporting and processes.
  • Highest degree of confidentiality and discretion required.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Team player
  • Willingness to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
