POSITION: Demand Planning Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Director
Location: China

POSITION SUMMARY:
The demand planning supervisor is responsible for forecasts, orders and allocates one segment of a category's product to support the category strategy in managing the supply chain; supply chain strategy execution to ensure all activities aligned with required policies and compliance standard.

In addition, monitors the flow of inventory to achieve the inventory plans and to maximize channels and regions' sales and profitability.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Financial:
• Works with retail, wholesale sales and ecommerce team partner to monitor overall inventory levels and sales to plan and forecast.
• Partner with demand planning manager to monitor APO forecast monthly and make recommendation as appropriate
• Identifies and evaluated any opportunity at ident level.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales and inventory analysis at the channels and category level.
• Act as item data and system subject matter expert for assigned product categories; ensure data integrity through validation of information for consistency and accuracy.

Buying:
• Ensures accurate and timely completion of orders at the division and class level.
• Maintains buy plan and actual orders to manage forward buys in-line with inventory and sales targets.
• Provides ongoing feedback and information to team members on sales results, competitive practices, and delivery issues with HQ and vendors, and other specific information which could impact the performance of the business.

Inventory Management:
• Establishes and maintains intensive key item, key category, and key location focus.
• Monitors and forecasts inventory levels at regions and location level.
• Establishes and maintains assortment plan pipeline by determining order quantities and placing order with HQ / suppliers.
• Buys merchandise for each channels / regions / location based on model stock and trends to achieve optimal sales, profit and inventory performance.
• Identifies slow and best sellers in inventory, and respond to maximize sales and minimize risks.
• Facilitating the communication of quality issues to enhance product quality.
• Monitor performance on new products and give on-going feedback to the team

Supply Chain:
• Ensures that product moves efficiently through the supply chain.
• Partner with warehouse team to ensure the efficiency of stock movement progress as well as the proper condition of merchandise storage in warehouse.
• Partner with marketing team on any assistance relating to logistic to support marketing event as well as merchandise sample review.

Projects:
• Friends & Family sale coordination
• Managing data validation

Domestic Partner Relations:
• Work closely with RCCL logistic, supply chain, customers service and compliance team to provide best in support to operation and ensure timely service whilst controlling cost and quality.
• Ensures team results, relationships and processes are aligned with Richemont mission and values.
• Ensures efficiency and effectiveness of all related work processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree holder in planning or related field
• At least 5 years' experience in planning / SAP or related field
