AG Jeans is looking for an experienced Senior Sportswear Sales Executive to join our corporate team! The position will based out of our corporate office in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead all sales activities of the company’s sportswear and knits business globally
- Work strategically to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales goals
- Establish and build strong relationships with wholesale buying teams at department stores and key accounts
- Prepare for and attend all key sales meetings
- Work closely with buying and planning teams to review seasonal budgets and profitability monthly to maintain a healthy business
- Manage weekly/seasonal selling analysis and OTB management
- Monitor and compile weekly selling analysis and sell through performance by door. Identify reorder, replenishment and swaps to drive in season business
- Identify strategies to maximize sales growth and reduce inventory liability
- Support operations, logistics and production internally to maintain efficient deliveries and customer service
- Maintain knowledge of sales and current market trends within the denim market
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Provide the corporate team with ongoing feedback about our performance as well as the competitive landscape
Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with luxury/and or contemporary sportswear and/or knits brands
- Have existing relationships with senior leadership at department stores and key accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess high level of analytical and organizational skills with proficient use of MS Excel and PowerPoint
