Public Relations & Brand Communications Associate

We are looking for an energetic, media savvy and super detail-oriented Public Relations and Brand Communications Associate to be a vital part of our in-house communications team for the Kelly Wearstler global luxury lifestyle design brand. This position reports to the Vice President of Public Relations and Brand Communications.

DUTIES

• Engage and maintain positive global media relationships
• Write and distribute press releases & brand collateral copywriting
• Manage proactive & reactive press and marketing requests
• Assist with Social Media content research and creation
• Media Monitoring and Reporting
• Management of image and press assets library
• Management of international media database
• Day to day support for communications department as needed

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• BA Degree in PR, English or Communications preferred
• 4+ years of PR experience in-house or agency and/or editorial experience at a major media outlet
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to execute day-to-day communications initiatives in a luxury and fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital media
• Solid knowledge of social media platforms, including IG and Pinterest
• Passion for design, deep familiarity with luxury lifestyle space and an eye for emerging trends
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with ease
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop
• Familiarity with collaborative software such as Microsoft 365 and Google Drive
