Job Description

We are currently seeking Senior Communications Manager Northern Europe as part of our Communications team based in London.

How you will contribute?

  • R esponsible for the development and implementation of innovative, tailored communication strategies (print, digital, social) for Bottega Veneta in UK, DACH & Netherlands in full alignment with the brand's yearly marketing and communications plans.
  • Reporting to the General Manager Northern Europe, the Senior Communications Manager Northern Europe is a key Bottega brand ambassador and a driving force within the PR team.
  • Strategizing, driving and coordinating high-impact communication activities focusing on fashion, lifestyle and cultural press and maximising the brand's association with today's most influential and emerging style icons.
  • Work directly with Bottega Veneta's Worldwide Communications Team and the Global PR team in Milan in the development of global public relations strategies and ensure effective execution locally through all channels.
  • Lead all communication related initiatives in the market, from strategy to conception and implementation, working closely with Global PR team to amplify the impact, influence and visibility of major brand initiatives and product launches.
  • Act as Bottega Veneta's key brand ambassador in UK, DACH & Netherlands.
  • Engage with key stakeholders (press, highly influential personalities) in the market to build brand awareness and desirability, drive traffic and grow business.
  • Effectively manage press features and distribution of press kits for the promotion of key PR initiatives (i.e. collections, events, store openings) in alignment with strategic objectives and KPIs. ROI evaluation for editorial projects.
  • Supervision of local sample management as well as Marketing & Communication budget for the UK, DACH & Netherlands market.
  • Evaluate and facilitate interview and shoot requests in relation to the Creative Director.
  • Consistent coordination with various departments including Merchandising, Global Communications, Marketing and Media for communications alignment.
  • Define and manage events calendar for Press, VIP and Clients for Northern Europe in cooperation with Global Communications team, General Manager Northern Europe and CRM teams. Create synergies and opportunities.
  • Strategically plan and manage all retail marketing activities and events with owned retail stores and partner, under the supervision of EMEA Senior Communications Manager and General Manager.
  • Support local PR planning and execution of fashion shows and other global brand events.


Who you are?

  • Consolidated and fully rounded experience in PR/Communications in a global environment, whether in in-house or in an agency.
  • Consolidated experience in leading and managing small/medium teams.
  • Consolidated previous cross-border and/or cross-cultural PR/Communications work experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of media, cultural landscape and societal dynamics in UK, DACH & Netherlands.
  • Excellent contacts and relationships with key and emerging highly influential personalities in UK, DACH & Netherlands.
  • Experience of driving PR/Communications strategy, including through associating brands with highly influential personalities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strategic thinking, team leader and strong organizational skills.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Working knowledge of (and ability to work in) German is a plus.
  • Flexibility for business travel, including regular travel to Milan headquarters.
