We are immediately looking for two Designers in the Young Fashion market segment to join our team on a maternity cover (fulltime - limited contract for 12 months) or on a part-time contract of 24hrs / week.
You will help our successful brands grow to the next level from a fashion design perspective.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Translate fashion trends into commercial Jerseywear // Flatknit wear in collaboration with the designers in your team, buyers and Product Developer.
- Lead and support concept meetings at season start kick-off with mood-boards, key colours, key styles and key materials within your product areas.
- Support the collection development with conceptualizing and translating into the newest trends. You will be providing expertise within Jerseywear // Flatknit Wear to enhance brand identity with customer focus.
- Create and share trend briefings team internally and externally with our suppliers. Request new fabrics, styles and prints input from our suppliers.
- Build up and organize a fabric library in collaboration with your Product Developer and Buyer. You will be reviewing proto samples, attending fit sessions and advising on production approvals when needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in fashion design (or similar) and 5+ years experience in fashion design, preferably working for trendy yet commercial label and with experience in Jerseywear // Flatknit wear
- Working knowledge of fashion design role within the retail world; incl. structure of a collection and knowledge in range building, techpack creation, creating understanding within the supplier base and within your team of buyers and product developers, fabric attributes, production processes and timelines.
- Proficient with Illustrator/Photoshop//hand sketching ability.
- Strong organizational skills, work within tight deadlines and enthusiasm together with team spirit
