Framebridge is looking for a Cost Account to join our Accounting team. This role will have responsibilities that impact all aspects of our monthly financial close process. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn. This person should be very organized and have excellent communication skills. The position will play an integral role in the output of the accounting team.  This role will report to our Corporate Controller and is based in Richmond, Kentucky. Framebridge is growing quickly! What you'll do:

• Primary responsibility is for the timely and accurate accounting of gross profit
• Review and reconcile revenue feeds into NetSuite and ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with accounting standards
• Lead the monthly close for Framebridges production activities through analyzing activity, completing reconciliations, and creating journal entries through NetSuite
• Manage and develop standard costing model for allocation of production costs to business units
• Develop the companys physical inventory strategy and complete monthly reconciliation of physical inventories to accounting records
• Conduct inventory analysis, including review of slow moving and damaged stock and evaluating reserve adequacy
• Calculate and analyze materials shrink
• Monitor and report on unit cost variances
• Collaborate with BI team to create, update, and analyze gross profit reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or working towards CPA is highly preferred
• In depth knowledge of Accounting theory and application of U.S. GAAP
• 3+ year(s) of cost accounting experience; fast-paced accounting department experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at various levels
• Proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet pressing deadlines
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Strong technology expertise, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
