Richemont - Financial Accountant

ASAP available, full time, permanent

How will you make an impact:
  • You will be responsible for preparing, reconciling and submitting the comprehensive monthly reporting packs to Group HQ, including income statement, balance sheet, cashflow, and supplementary reporting schedules (eg breakdowns by brand, by function, by balance sheet classification)
  • You will manage one Assistant Financial Accountant and one AR Assistant
  • You will be responsible for: the AR function, gross margin, stock accounting, intercompany reporting, fixed assets
  • You will perform the monthly payroll reconciliation and be responsible for accurate accounting of employee costs & benefits and any related accruals & allocations
  • You will prepare the monthly VAT return and be the main HMRC contact point
  • You will participate in additional reporting to Group on a quarterly, semi-annual & annual basis and any ad-hoc reporting as required
  • You will be a key contact in the annual external audit process and in any internal audits that the Group may require
  • You will work with our external tax advisors to prepare the annual Corporation Tax return
  • You will prepare the annual financial statements
  • You will be involved in ONS submissions
  • You will be assigned a variety of projects for implementation, to improve processes and to create efficiencies both within the wider finance function and to enhance cross-functional communication and operations


How will you experience success with us:
  • Ability to maintain accuracy & timeliness within a high volume, deadline driven department
  • To review processes and introduce improvements and time-saving measures on a continuous basis
  • To remain vigilant to any potential cost-saving measures that may become apparent & report these appropriately
  • Strong technical accounting background and relevant computer skills in SAP R/3 FI-CO & Excel
  • Extremely organised, efficient, proactive, solution-oriented
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Team player with the agility to multitask whilst capable & comfortable with working independently
  • Determination to succeed in meeting tight, established deadlines
