Job Details

Browns is recruiting a 6-month contract Microsoft Dynamics F&O Functional Consultant (6 Month FTC), who has experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail. This role will be part of the core project team with responsibility for the successful implementation of the Retail POS solution.

Close collaboration with business stakeholders, and technical SMEs alike, will be essential to ensure the POS implementation is always completed in a compliant and end-user focused manner. This role will suit a resilient, technical, detail-orientated problem solver with the ability to work with multiple third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement POS device strategy and roll out.
  • Plan and carry out migration from old to new devices.
  • Procure new devices (POS, chip & pin, printers…).
  • Procure and arrange installation of necessary local servers.
  • Lead all testing associated with POS solution with support from the Test Manager.
  • Define and roll out store start of day and end of day processes.
  • Configure POS button layout.
  • Act as infrastructure coordinator to ensure that any relevant software and hardware. is delivered to the right location at the right time.
  • First point of contact for Go Live POS issues.
  • Onsite support at the stores on Go Live day.
  • Handover of infrastructure/device responsibility to Farfetch IT team.
  • Handover of software knowledge to Tech & Product team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a functional/technical consultant implementing both MS CPOS/MPOS for a retail client.
  • Able to configure MPOS including integration with D365 FO.
  • Able to design and configure POS related reports.
  • Able to define and execute all POS related tests.
