Job description – Creative Manager

Reports to Creative Director and Commercial Director

Full Time, London home based

Role Overview

Carry out the creative vision of the Creative Director across the business, working independently, yet collaboratively with a small management team to develop innovative and engaging concepts, crafting and refining them before presenting them to the Creative Director.  Sole responsibility for the creative output to ensure that everything produced impeccably reflects the brand values.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Liaise with CD on all visual matters – create and develop concepts and approve with CD, ensuring that design and creative projects are delivered on time and to budget
  • Create email campaigns each week with input from the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Create templates for artwork and ensure all artwork produced meets the requirements and values of the brand
  • Manage production and art direction of photo-shoots for campaign and web; oversee styling
  • Conceptualise and oversee installation of window displays for retail, pop-ups, and any special projects
  • Content creation and Instagram plan, including all copy writing for the brand
  • Visual merchandising of the London store and major wholesale partners
  • Packaging design and new initiatives
  • Provide quality control over design outputs and production
  • Establish and develop best practice; working in collaboration with the Web team to ensure assets are provided to spec and on time
  • Build relationships with external services such as photographers, illustrators and printers to ensure our output is eye-catching and innovative
  • Be a brand guardian, with a strong point of view on design and creative approach across all mediums
  • Organise visual aspects of events in store
  • Support CD with special projects

Essential Experience

5+ years’ experience within a creative design role, ideally in luxury and/or fashion

  • Experience in sourcing and managing third-party suppliers and producers
  • Experience on set, styling, shooting video and stills content
  • Experience working with models and casting
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
  • In depth understanding of typography, colour and composition
  • Demonstrable typographic skills
  • Copy-writing experience
  • In depth understanding of print and production processes
