As the Lead Construction Logistics (w/m/d) you are responsible for the expansion of our logistics network within Europe and for supporting our team lead in the professional and disciplinary management and control of the construction team.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

Take over the economic and calculatory review, monitor the construction work and manage the entire planning and development process, primarily of our logistics network, logistics properties, etc.
Establish communication and decision-making structures and define clear roles and responsibilities
Oversee the approval process at every stage of the construction project, work closely with the legal team and steer your team accordingly to get the building permit on schedule
Coordinate with the business unit for which the Corporate Real Estate Development Team is working and involve them in the process at any relevant points
Build efficient relationships and networks with external and internal partners and service providers to ensure that all projects are completed on time

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as project manager in the construction industry, project controller or site manager, ideally in a logistics environment
Experience in professional and disciplinary management and a successfully completed university degree in civil engineering, architecture or a comparable degree
Profound knowledge of building and planning law, as well as initial experience in transaction management
Ability to not lose time in hectic, time-critical project phases, to find practical answers to complex questions and to contribute with innovative ideas
Clear communication in German and English, assertiveness and the ability to coordinate all stakeholders of a project and to focus them on one goal
Open to regular travel
