Richemont - Assistant Financial Accountant
ASAP available, full time, permanent
How will you make an impact:
- You will assist the Financial Accountant in preparing accurate monthly reporting packs and submitting them to Richemont HQ within tight deadlines, including: income statement, balance sheet, cashflow, supplementary reporting schedules
- You will be involved in accounting for: leases under IFRS16 & within the lease module, fixed assets, variable rents based on sales, fixed rent expense and rental income outside of IFRS16, rates, insurances, service charges, accruals & prepayments across a wide range of brands & functions
- You will be responsible for reviewing & reclassifying other areas of expenses to ensure alignment with Group P&P
- You will participate in additional reporting to Group on a quarterly, semi-annual & annual basis and any ad-hoc reporting as required
- You will play a key part in the annual external audit process and in any internal audits that the Group may perform
- You will assist the Financial Accountant in organising the preparation of the annual Corporation Tax return, the annual financial statements and ONS submissions
- You will be assigned a variety of projects for implementation, to improve processes and to create efficiencies both within the wider finance function and to enhance cross-functional communication and operations
How will you experience success with us:
- Ability to maintain accuracy & timeliness within a high volume, deadline driven department reporting to a 'Finance HQ' in Geneva and different 'Brand HQs'
- To review processes and introduce improvements and time-saving measures on a continuous basis
- To remain vigilant to any potential cost-saving measures that may become apparent & report these appropriately
- Strong technical accounting background and relevant computer skills in SAP R/3 FI-CO & Excel
- Extremely organised, efficient, proactive, solution-oriented
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Team player with the agility to multitask whilst capable & comfortable with working independently
- Determination to succeed in meeting tight, established deadlines
