Job Description
Job Title : Human Resources Manager, Korea
Direct Reporting Line : General Manager of Korea, Southeast Asia & Oceania
Function Reporting Line : Human Resources Director, Asia Pacific
Location : Seoul
SUMMARY
This is a newly created position with primary responsibilities to manage Korea humanresources function by providing services and advices to business users in the areas of talentmanagement & development, compensation & benefits, organizational development,employee engagement, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To manage full spectrum of human resources operations and activities within corporateframework including talent acquisition and development, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, learning and development, andcompany policies & practices
- To manage HR budget & forecast as well as periodic report analysis
- To identify effective staffing strategies to meet workforce requirements due to businessexpansion in both retail stores and corporate office
- To reivew and implement Company policies and guidelines to ensuring compliance tolocal labour law and regulations
- To plan and execute HR projects and initiatives in Korea with an aim in strengthening theoverall HR operations and enhance operational efficiencies
- To foster effective communication between employees and the Company
- To maintain effective communications with regional office and business stakeholders forHR initiatives
- To work closely and collaboratively with Kering HR Shared Services Center to ensure anaccurate and efficient payroll & HR transactional operations
- Occasional business travel is required where necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Human Resouces Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 8-year solid HR generalist experience, where at least 3-year at a managementrole, ideally from luxury fashion, sports & lifestyle, or FMCG
- Excellent knowledge of Korea Labour Law and HR best practices in the market
- Possess a strong business and financial acumen with highly analytical mindset to workindependently
- Possess excellent communication skills in a way that inspire and engage others
- Determination to achieve goals and inspire team despite potential resistance
- High proficiency in English with computer skills such as MS Office, HRIS, etc.
