The RealReal seeks a Senior Lifecycle Manager, who is customer-obsessed, hands-on, and focused on delivering outstanding customer and consignor experiences.

You will work highly cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Product, and other key stakeholders to help us solve complex and exciting challenges by leveraging data to develop audience specific strategies and programs across owned channels (email, IAM, SMS, and Push). Focusing on connecting customers and consignors with the right message, at the right time, you will turn insights into a strategic position that will achieve both brand and business goals, and ambitious sales targets.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Drive cross channel traffic & retention through a strategic approach to customer and consignor touchpoints and message cadence
  • Own all triggered & lifecycle strategies on a personalized level across email marketing, mobile programs and programmatic sales campaigns
  • Partner with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Production to drive segmentation and personalization strategies (custom or otherwise) that can be applied to triggered and batch email campaigns
  • Deliver on traffic, customer and consignor goals, and report on weekly and monthly metrics, KPIs and provide insights to leadership
  • Be an authority on copy and design, leveraging data to drive shopping, consignment, and engagement to back decisions
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including Acquisition Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Pricing and Planning, and Partnerships to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging and strategy
  • Management of email and mobile vendor technical and strategy resources
  • Manage team of specialists who will execute day to day campaigns

What You Bring To The Role
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2C marketing or product management with an emphasis on direct digital marketing channels
  • Direct experience managing consumer facing email and mobile push programs required
  • Experience with A/B testing and a combination of B2C and B2B lead nurturing experience
  • Adept in strategic thinking & analytics with a passion for innovation and creative problem solving (familiarity using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker and Amplitude a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a demanding and ambiguous environment with competing priorities
