The mission of Employer Branding team is to create awareness, attraction and image for Zalando as an employer through compelling brand experiences, underpinned by data. We bring together brand, communications and candidate experience to ensure that Zalando is known and considered as an employer of choice within our target groups, while delivering targeted marketing activities to support recruiting needs.

As the Digital Communications Manager of the Employer Branding team, you will represent the digital voice of Zalando's Employer Brand to our diverse audiences, finding innovative ways to grow our digital presence and engage with current and future talent in an authentic brand-centric way. You will be responsible for managing our social platforms, as well as extending our presence on paid channels. You will also strategically guide our team to deliver on impactful and results-driven digital campaigns.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • You'll update the digital communication strategy for our employer brand and support our team with our communications approach across our 3 key talent segments
  • You'll be responsible for developing and realizing KPIs which not just grow our digital footprint but create meaningful impact for our audiences
  • You'll be responsible for our owned platforms and social media channels including moderating communities and developing posts
  • You will be responsible for tracking our campaigns and reporting to the wider Talent Acquisition audiences on a regular basis
  • You will act as an adviser to our stakeholders, suggesting use cases and formats to deliver optimal performance
  • In this role you'll work closely with Corporate Communications, Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • You think strategically, are an independent worker who enjoys managing cross-departmental communication, and can work well with multiple stakeholders on shared timelines
  • You are social media savvy and have a knack for communication including writing and ideating campaigns
  • You're passionate about Digital & Social Media and have great instincts for how to improve the content you produce. You enjoy pursuing innovation in this field, especially creating trends not just following them
  • You're a great storyteller and have strong community management skills, and understand how to increase and maintain social media followers
  • You have experience in drafting and implementing online marketing strategies involving different channels catering them to different audiences
  • You have knowledge of web analytics (monitoring), SEA and SEO, and experience using LinkedIn
  • You have run programmatic campaigns and understand how to test and measure success. You can cultivate strong relationships with external platforms
  • You're fluent in English, both in writing and speaking and have some German language skills
