INTRODUCTION

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to develop and support the implementation of responsibility strategy across a range of social, environmental and governance topics.

*This is a fixed term contract opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the company's approach to a range of social and environmental programmes.
  • Consult across a variety of business functions to facilitate end to end delivery of multiple work streams.
  • Analyse data from a range of internal and external sources to produce strategic papers in support of sustainability projects and strategy to inform senior managers and corporate decision-making.
  • Create data as required by linking across key elements of the business.
  • Produce ad hoc thematic research and analysis appropriate to corporate needs.
  • Analyse and interpret any results drawing inferences and making recommendations as required.
  • Produce reports and presentations for the VP of Responsibility and other team members.
  • Prepare for meetings and conferences as required.
  • Develop governance frameworks in line with agreed plans.
  • Maintain awereness of key developments externally in relation to Responsibility.
  • Represent Burberry in working groups and forums in order to feed information back to the business and drive partnership development in line with sustainability strategies.
  • General support to the responsibility team.


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Excellent project management skills (to consultancy level).
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Great stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
  • Strong skillset in powerpoint presentations and managing databases / spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creativity, ability to continuously innovate.
  • Great connector and team player.
  • Courage to pick up new work, investigate the best options for the company and deliver high level briefing and action plans.
  • Great ability to connect and partner with regional colleagues.
