Job Description

We are currently looking for a driven Senior HR Manager who will report to the Chief People Officeras part of our dynamic London team.

Your Opportunity

Alexander McQueen is in search of a Senior HR Manager, who will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for the Houses' Head Office population for both Corporate and Design teams. You will play an instrumental role in delivering the People Strategy at this exciting time of growth for the brand, through closely collaborating with the Head Office teams, as well as taking the lead on various HR projects.

How you will contribute
  • Develop effective working relationships with Senior Management in order to Business Partner on OD, performance and talent management, on an ongoing basis, thereby embedding the new Dynamic Performance Model
  • Working with regional HR BP's and the CPO to shape and help define and deliver the people strategy
  • Support with ensuring HR efficiencies for your population
  • Lead the implementation of Kering and WW Alexander McQueen Human Resources initiatives for your client groups, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities; acting as a sounding board for your peers
  • Coach and empower line management to take ownership of people issues; acting as HR lead and escalation point for all employee relations matters - protecting employees and the business alike
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation to be able to advise Managers of requirements
  • Engage with Senior Management to define their people requirements during the Budgeting/forecasting process, as well as developing proposals for the Annual Salary and Bonus Review process
  • Develop and manage the HR Advisor, overseeing all first line support/ advice undertaken, to ensure transactional HR effectiveness
  • Responsible for overseeing the Graduate, Work Placement, Consultant and Casual Worker populations, ensuring compliance, budget monitoring and administration of documentation is in hand
  • Work closely with the Talent and Development Manager to drive the recruitment agenda for your population
  • Work closely with the Senior Reward & HR Operations Manager and Kering HR Shared Services to ensure correct data administration of your population


Your Skills and Experience
  • Previous generalist Human Resources experience as HR BP/Manager/Senior Manager level within a fast paced, creative Head Office environment
  • Demonstrable experience of forging strong relationships with management, built on trust and credibility
  • Ability to build and continuously innovate a HR approach adapted to the Brand Culture and business strategic needs
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and previous experience managing complex ER cases
  • High level of emotional intelligence and resilience
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) and influencing skills
  • Solutions focused, with a hands-on approach
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel), experience on Workday would be beneficial
  • Degree in a related discipline / CIPD qualified advantageous
