Manage and deliver transcreation projects for global and China by liaising with teams in the UK and China. Achieve better alignment and collaborative ways of working between London and China teams by monitoring project requests across platforms, and share relevant information, connect stakeholders globally. 12 MONTHS MATERNITY COVER.


  • Submit translation/transcreation requests to the agency and communicate delivery dates to the internal teams. Negotiate deadlines if necessary.
  • Collate reference material/information to create project briefs for the partner agency to ensure high-quality translation/trans-creation in all ten languages for
  • Organise the QA for localised pages and collate feedback, report the result to the content teams.
  • Identify potential challenges for localisation at the start of projects and negotiate design changes/agree on alternative solutions with project managers and designers.
  • Advise corporate teams on unique regional requirements, customer behaviour, cultural differences and customs to maximise the impact of Chinese platforms.
  • Feedback on Chinese translation submitted by the agency ensure high-quality translations for all channels.
  • Collaborate with the English copywriters and the regional teams to create and deliver Chinese copy for platforms such as Wechat, Tmall.
  • Research and share insights on local media trends and competitor campaigns with various teams.
  • Review Chinese print materials and advise design team on fonts, typeset, layouts.
  • Work closely with the regional and corporate marketing team to transcreate product names for icon products.


  • Excellent knowledge of Chinese and global digital platforms
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic
  • Positive communication style with a can-do attitude
  • Knowledge/experience of SEO localisation is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task
  • Excellent IT skills - PC, Mac, Microsoft, Google Doc, OneDrive
  • Experience of using ASANA and Smartling is an advantage
  • Previous professional experience in managing translation/Transcreation projects
  • Previous experience in working within a luxury/fashion brand
  • Native speaker of Mandarin
