About the role

The Innovation & Technology team, a group within Gap Digital Operations, is charged with driving a best in class customer experience.

The Senior Producer, Innovation & Technology, will lead our organization in innovation across our digital customer experience including our website and mobile app, will be a primary partner for Product Management and central Tech group initiatives, and will manage our site operations including afterhours support. This is a critical leadership role for the brand orchestrating many different cross-functional teams and competing priorities.

What you'll do


  • Own Gap digital innovation roadmap in partnership with Brand leadership, Product Management, central Tech


  • Oversee team managing innovation projects


  • Act as primary partner for Product Management and central Tech teams to support technology change management for the brand when feature releases or platform issues occur


  • Lead team and cross-functional support through troubleshooting website and technology issues-prioritizing defects, facilitating resolution, and communicating updates to leadership.

    After-hours support as needed.


  • Partner closely with your cross-functional partners and business leads to build an operational model that creates space for growth and flexibility to meet business needs and implement changes as needed.


  • Understand business goals and requirements for all digital projects.


  • Roll-up your sleeves as the team needs to work on scheduling, QA, builds, and meeting management


  • Manage, provide career development, mentor a team of producers and associate producers


  • Advise on technical feasibility of digital initiatives



Who you are


  • Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects


  • You have an inate drive and passion in the work you do and the business you represent


  • You seamlessly straddle strategy and execution


  • Ability to quickly analyze issues, requests, and escalations to determine feasibility, required activities, and the appropriate resource


  • You have executive presence with frequent interaction and need to influence cross-functional leadership team


  • You can get your hands dirty and "do" as well as advise and oversee


  • You are available for afterhours support on a rotational basis


  • History of effective cross-functional partnerships and working through multiple levels of an organization


  • High attention to detail, organization and project management skills


  • 5+ years of digital operations, project management, production experience. Ideally in eCommerce.


  • BA/BS required
