PURPOSE

The Logistics Administrator is responsible for timely and accurate processing of receipt, despatch and transport of customer goods in the most cost effective and efficient manner whilst ensuring all such activities enhance the customer service objectives of the Company.

Roles and responsibilities can be expanded to accommodate changing business conditions and goals, as well as to tap into the skills and talents of the individuals in the company.

Accordingly, associates may be tasked to perform duties that are outside of the specific functions that are listed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inbound shipments

  • Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of goods to internal and external customers.
  • Process all Incoming Shipments to ensure that all IDN's are interfaced
  • Prepare Shipment proper in GTS for transmission to Tradenet.
  • Ensure Permit declared is in accordance to the Singapore Customs regulations
  • Ensure all returns (inter-company & Export Wholesalers) are process on a timely basis.
  • Update and complete inbound shipment database daily, maintaining same on a weekly basis ensuring all details are completed.


Filing and Reconciliation

  • Ensure all ISR reports are obtained from the various couriers on a weekly basis
  • All Reports have to be cross checked with relevant import documents to ensure completeness
  • On the 10th working day on each month, submit to finance reports to the respective finance staff :
    • Tradenet Report
    • GTS Inbound and Outbound Report
    • All IRS Reports ( Fedex, DHL & UPS )
    • Inbound Database Report
    • Permits Report Declared by Forwarders (ISR)


  • REQUIREMENTS
    • Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics
    • Fluent spoken and written English
    • Strong PC skills, expertise with Windows, MS Office, Lotus Notes and AS400 applications.
    • At least two years' work experience in a shipping department for a similar organisation or with freight forwarding
    • Organised and detail orientated.
    • Able to commence immediately or within short notice
