Manager, Brand Finance - 11215 Metro Pkwy

Position Objective

This position is primarily responsible for providing short and long term financial planning and analysis to improve our brand's understanding of revenue and expenses across multiple businesses, departments and functions. Will provides broad support for stores, field, marketing and the home office, including expense planning, ad-hoc analysis and management reporting. Own the financial forecasting process in partnership with account owners to manage and leverage expense categories. Provide financial guidance to brand management and drive the strategic direction of the annual budgeting process.

Functional Responsibilities

• Provides analytical support for Brand, including developing and improving reporting that highlights important expense drivers, while analyzing overall financial performance.
• Drive the development of forecasting models for brand SG&A accounts. Work with brand account owners to ensure that expense forecasts reflect plans and decisions.
• Identifies expense management process opportunities and leads the creation and implementation of new analysis tools
• Drive the strategic development of annual expense budgets for the brand. Develop tracking tools and metrics to give visibility to account owners.
• Develops and maintains actual expense and forecasting models for the brand. Works with Cost Center Managers to ensure that expense budgets and forecasts reflect their plans and strategies.
• Partner with corporate F,P&A on enterprise wide initiatives. Provide guidance to brand management on tactical steps and the financial impact. Provides ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
• Pursues opportunities for expense improvement for the Brand

Education

Preferred - BA/BS in Finance
Preferred - BA/BS in Accounting
Preferred Masters in Business

Required Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years of experience in retail financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting
• Thorough understanding of company financial statements
• Able to present complex financial analysis in an understandable format
• Proven decision making and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build relationships & contribute in a team setting
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, self-motivated
• Strong PC skills
  • Expert in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Report and SAP BI
  • Proficient in Access & Visio
