About the role

The Marketing Manager of North America Promotions is responsible for supporting and executing the online promotional marketing plan for Gap online US and Canada. This position will report to the Director of North America Promotions.

What you'll do


  • Lead the implementation of major promotional marketing campaigns; be the interpreter of strategy into execution


  • Willingness to learn digital capabilities outside of day to day scope in order to drive execution


  • Develop A/B testing plans, carefully devising testing structures, reporting on their effectiveness, and implementing their results


  • Actively bring new ideas to the table in terms of execution, testing ideas, commercial plan feedback, competitor analysis, etc.


  • Execution against the promotional calendar, including calendar management, change management, writing marketing briefs, reviewing creative, and recapping events


  • Weekly business reporting and additional reporting as needed


  • Develop strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners


  • Be a solutions-oriented self-starter; highly responsive, accountable, and flexible to meet business needs



Who you are


  • Positive attitude and ability to manage change; thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity


  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects


  • High attention to detail and tremendous organizational and process management skills


  • Not afraid to have a challenging conversation, grounding all points of view and feedback in data


  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of excel are a must; experience in Omniture a plus


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to glean insights and tell a story from the data


  • 5+ years of marketing, company planning/finance, agency/consulting, or buying/merchandising experience
