Store Construction Project Manager - CDI

Within the Store & Design Planning (SDP) team, the Store Construction Project Manager ensures with the contractors, consultants and vendors, in collaboration with Central Store Design and Construction and European Markets, the boutiques are built to the Maison's standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Project Management


    • Prepares launch package by collecting, controlling & validating, all information necessary to central SDP to start working (Site Survey package, photos reports, constraints and guidelines)
    • Monitors the design by reviewing, giving feedback and validating with Central Store Design project layout, according to the Boutique Brief, costs estimations, local constraints & guidelines, Head Office specifications & security recommendations.
    • Liaises and works closely with local market, Architects, in the progress of the project and coordinates between all parties: local market, architect concept designers, centralized suppliers, local suppliers, execution architect, contractors & consultants.
    • Controls the planning & confirms the final opening date through the Progress of works
    • Manages all operations processes from coordinating all suppliers, ordering fixtures & fittings to minimizing the cost of shipping with local markets
    • Attends site meetings prior to project implementation including coordinating on-site installation work, supervising on-site installation


  • The Projects, Construction & Process
    • Support development of international tools to Strive for Transparency & Open Communication
    • Prepare monthly documents
    • Propose local adaptation
    • Expand the pool of Consultants and vendors ( Capex / T&E & Reasonable Spending Monitoring )
    • Collect datas for Regional analysis and benchmarking
    • Coaching, mentoring and motivation of the consultant and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
    • Controls the budget & follows up the final cost summary of each project in collaboration with Central SD and local markets
    • Controls the tendering and follows the benchmarking
    • Follows up all assets booking & progress of payment to all suppliers
    • Validates all quotations, invoices and payments related to the project.
    • Anticipate the maintenance of the boutiques in order to match with the quality standards , works closely with local markets to ensure their capacity to manage the maintenance after opening

    • Develop tools, guideline, actions which enables to raise the quality of the processes at the international level


    Profile
    • Degree in Architecture, Building Engineering Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in Architecture and Project Management in a Retail environment
    • 3 years of planning and/or construction facilities management background
    • Ability to quickly assess technical, architectural and financial constraints
    • Strong organizational & administrative skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent ability to prioritize and follow-through and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Software. AutoCAD and Microsoft Project proficiency is a plus but not necessary.
