Job Overview:

 

The Global E-commece Merchandising Manager is pivotal role within the Global Commercial team focusing on ensuring sales numbers are met through stock and inventory analysis. Global includes and is not excluded to UK, EU, APAC, NA.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

 

Reporting

-       Assist the Senior Global E-commerce Commercial Manager with forecasting Annual Budget revenue projections for the Global business

-       Forecast and monitor revenue at sku level weekly for the Global business, accountable for forecast accuracy

-       Guide trading and commercial decisions to achieve margin, inventory and sell-through plans

-       Define and support the e-commerce team in the delivery of e-commerce KPI’s such as sales revenue, traffic, ATV, Orders and expected closing inventory

-       Produce and circulate weekly and monthly trade and performance updates and recommendations to Senior stakeholders

-       Report in the weekly and monthly trade reviews with senior management at a top line revenue and drilled down product view

-       Proactively review and report on daily and weekly trade performance, identifying areas of opportunity

-       Take ownership and update Daily Sales tracker and sku forecasting tool

-       Work with finance to clear open orders, ensuring stock is released and inventory levels are correct

 

Stock/Inventory

-       Ownership over Global Digital inventory and ensure there are no stock risks and highlighting any inventory risks to the business weekly

-       Assist in Range Plan and Building for future and current stock and new product launches

 

Wider Business

-       Work with the Web Production Assistant on VM layout/requirements on the site on weekly basis

-       Work with the global digital marketing team to actively seek any additional sales opportunities, such as new products, bundles and GWP’s created to drive traffic and increase conversion

-       Provide clear direction to marketing on all promotional and markdown activity to ensure all communication channels are adjusted accordingly

-       Assist the global digital marketing team with communication plans, ensure maximise exposure for relevant products and promotions, at a wide and focused segmentation level

-       Work with Analyst to improve website activity and highlight any opportunities which can be implemented

-       Assist in new website launch, being available and pro-active for UAT and go-live plans

-       Work flexibly within the team to support e-commerce Partnerships and marketing in forecasting and holiday cover

 

 

 

Experience & Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strength in attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Team worker - able to work cross divisionally
  • Demonstrate a can do attitude in an approachable manner
  • Demonstrate a passion for both product and digital channel 
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient and flexible approach working with rapidly changing priorities and short deadlines; ideally he/she will have leadership experience in both larger and smaller enterprises.
  • Demonstrable affinity with the Crabtree & Evelyn brand and luxury health & wellness industry; experience within a consumer or retail organization is crucial, within the personal care industry desirable.

 

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in retail e-commerce.
  • University Degree

 

Tools Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with CRM systems, Facebook ad manager and Google analytic
