An exciting opportunity for a bright, analytic and hard-working individual to head the e-commerce for CDLP, a fast growing innovator of sustainable luxury essentials.

CDLP has, with its characteristic aesthetic and sustainable fabrics, taken a unique position in the men’s luxury essentials market. We've partnered with some of the world’s leading department-and multibrand stores globally, but our main channel of business is our e-commerce, and we are now looking to hire a world class e-commerce director.

Reporting to the CEO, the e-commerce director will be responsible for the online strategy and continuous growth of the e-commerce business. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to work alongside all teams within the company to ensure the smooth running and successful business growth of CDLP.com.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Responsible for optimizing the online customer journey from entering the website and throughout the Customer lifetime
  • Manage development to constantly improve UX / UI, introduce new features and ensure functionality.
  • Act to improve and analyze acquisition, retention and customer experience efforts through on-site & channel optimization.
  • Develop strong data connections between e-commerce, logistics and in-store systems to ensure full potential in omni-channel strategy.
  • Provide marketing department with data to aid them in creation and strategy
  • Strategize and execute email marketing strategy
  • Routinely audit email data, understand customer behavior and create segmenting and strategies based on this.
  • Produce reporting on online sales, marketing performance, and KPIs
  • Drive strategic change by identifying potential business opportunities relating to e-Commerce, e-mail and other channels

We expect the ideal candidate to have:

  • +3 years Digital/e-commerce experience in fashion/apparel industry or other relevant B2C company
  • Managerial skills and ability to build a world-class e-commerce team 
  • A passion for the digital customer experience
  • A growth mindset, and solid understanding of metrics that unlock growth
  • Demonstrated knowledge of website technology and development, and e-commerce platforms
  • Advanced analytical ability, which involves consolidating large datasets into concise and actionable recommendations.
  • In depth understanding of SEO, SEM and PPC and strong Google Analytics expertise
  • Hands-on experience working with customer segmentation for the purposes of advertising.
  • A love for hands-on/multi-tasking in a fast paced “start-up” environment
  • Sharp analytical and project managing skills
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and tactical execution level, and be able to follow through a concept to completion
