About the role

The role of the Visual Communications Coordinator is to support the Store Experience Franchise Team to drive and improve visual execution and standards of our international fleet in all the Gap Inc. brands. As a part of the Visual Communications team, this role will work with the Visual Communications Manager to create and adapt of the all visual merchandising directives and communication. Working within an agile, innovative creative team in a fast-paced environment. The Visual Communications Coordinator will have a key role in contributing to the Brand and business strategies delivering inspirational, engaging, elevated experiences wherever we meet our customer. This role will form a Job share on a 3 day a week basis with a fixed 6 month contract with the possibility for extension.

What you'll do

  • The VM Communications Coordinator will manage the graphic design and communication of all visual directives.
  • Assists the Visual Communications and Operations Manager on all visual communications.
  • Maintains and Updates the Store Experience digital and web platforms.
  • Supports the visual brief process and schedule, ensuring all projects are fulfilled on time. Assists when necessary with the coordination and set-up of showrooms and store floor sets.
  • Partners with all levels of cross functional business partners and demonstrates the ability to influence.
  • Is able to work from a brief through remote management and is self-motivated, proactive and has ability to manage multiple competing demands.
  • Participates in creative and innovative discussions at management level and converts this information into appropriate feedback.


Who you are

  • Strong Experience with creating visual directives and guidelines
  • Established experience of Visual Merchandising and display at management level
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint/Keynote
  • Mac Literate
  • Experience with Online training sites like Articulate is beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communications skills
  • English fluent, multi-language skills a plus
