What You Get To Do Every Day
- Act as our principal platform administrator as we transform how The RealReal communicates with employees and employees communicate with each other
- Dissect and measure platform analytics to inform content and dissemination strategies, company-wide and in targeted segments
- Support our "internal newsroom" by establishing user guidelines and acting as the final content reviewer and dispatcher
- Act as a content moderator, providing oversight for administrative and employee engagement within the platform
- Develop gamification strategies that encourage participation and adoption of the platform across all employee segments, from HQ roles to a shift-based workforce
- Provide platform support to cross-functional departments, such as Operations, Retail & Luxury Consignment Offices and Sales, to support independent platform usage for their unique audiences
- Drive employee social sharing through the platform by identifying strategic content that best communicates TRR's values and culture, business achievements and ethical impact
- Create data-driven weekly recaps and targeted reminders that reinforce critical highlights and actions
- Support the employee communications function by maintaining the department content calendar, curating targeted audiences, creating and tracking communications-based surveys, and other foundational activities
What You Bring To The Role
- 4+ years experience working in communications or journalism fields
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning institution, ideally in a communications or content development specialty
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with technology-based communications tools, highly preferred
- Proven ability to create clear and impactful written and multimedia content, recent samples must be available
- Exceptional aptitude for taking initiative, moving quickly, demonstrating flexibility, and multi-tasking
- Must be a self starter who can thrive working independently and collaboratively
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and flex with the changing needs of a business
- Established skills in strategic and critical thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and relationship-building
- Positivity and passion as a contributing member of a close-knit team
