Reports to: Visual Merchandiser Manager  

Job Propose: Reporting to the Visual Merchandiser Manager the Visual Merchandiser Intern supports in ensuring the brand DNA is rolled out consistently across the Stores, Pop-ups, Fashion Shows and Showroom. The Graphic Design Intern will work under the instruction of the Visual Merchandising Manger delivering rendering, 2D/3D Visualization, mock up’s and digital drawings for various Visual Merchandising projects 

Main responsibilities:

  • Pop up/Shop in Shops/Special projects/Installations  
  • Work collaboratively with the Visual Merchandiser Manager and the whole Brand Image Team to find unique creative solutions to visual projects while maintaining brand identity aesthetics.  
  • Prepare detailed drawings, mock-ups, floor plans to illustrate and present concepts, often using computer-aided design programs. Designs interior spaces, including permanent architectural details and temporary elements. Ability to read blueprint technical drawings. 
  • Flagship Store  
  • Weekly VM visits and changeover. Creation and development of props and assets.  
  • Prepare visual mock-ups, renders and visualisations. Final photography for internal brand literature. 
  • Guidelines 
  • Create seasonal visual merchandising guidelines documents. 
  • Showrooms 
  • Concept research and development of drawings to visualize the space. Development of seasonal showroom props including - rails, furniture and mannequins. Final photography for internal brand literature. 
  • Fashion Shows 
  • Research from the creative direction; support in sourcing various elements and drawings. 
  • Printed collateral 
  • Design and layouts of various internal and external printed collateral.  

Skills and Experience needed: 

  • A good level of technical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUP is essential.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. Positive and great attitude and an interest in fashion, art and design  
  • Interest in the fashion industry & retail world 
  • Visual merchandising skills 
  • Creativity and imagination 
  • Understanding of J.W.Anderson’s aesthetic to ensure its consistency 
  • Translating the brand’s vision into reality for any sphere of the image department 
  • Dedicated, hardworking and committed person willing to invest long term 
  • Excellent communication skills able to work under pressure and work to deadlines with every department of the company  
  • Adapts well to changes, flexibility of schedule 
  • Decision making skills 
  • Ability to propose solutions and concepts.
