STUDIO

• Creation and weekly management of Private Client Overview

• Keeping Head of Atelier aware of deadlines and necessary production schedules

• Ordering all relevant fabrics and trimmings for Private Client use in house

• Supporting sales consultants with all enquiries relating to fabrication, production and technical aspects of Bespoke services

• Creation of a Sales Book for each season (four per year). This is to be delivered to store at the same time as each new collection, outlining all prices and fabric availability for MTO/MTMB and Bespoke orders.

• On a Thursday prior to the weekly company Operations Meeting: to provide a report on bespoke happenings/quotes/ideas in order to generate improvement in Bespoke Department

• Training a team of full-time interns to assist with the daily running of the Bespoke and Bridal Atelier.

• Weekly briefings with Head Fitter, Pattern Cutters and Machinists to update on previous week’s fittings and discuss/plan future orders

• Sourcing fabrics for Private Client and VIP projects

• Liaising on technical and pattern enquiries for Private Client projects

• Ordering quantities of seasonal mainline fabric for Bespoke clientele with Production Director

DESIGN

• Sketching bespoke and bridal designs for client presentations (Private Client and VIP)

• Creation of client presentations, incorporating illustrations & fabric suggestions

• Creation of fabric samples for client presentations/consultations

• Creation of ‘mood board’ inspiration pages to accompany bespoke presentations

• Sourcing new fabrics for special bespoke projects

• Sourcing embroidery components for special bespoke projects

• Embroidery design for bespoke projects

• Ordering lab dips from mills for Private Client fabric portfolio

• Weekly in person meetings with Bridal Manager

  • In depth discussions around designs and quotations for potential brides
  • Conversations around fabrication for potential brides

• Liaising with production department on fabric availability for Private Client/Bespoke orders

• Recalling production fabrics from the factories for completion of Private Client orders

• Coordinating embroidery designs with Indian manufacturers for bespoke projects

• In house calligrapher for special projects and events

• Researching Bridal and Bespoke inspiration

 

STORE

• Design of windows and visual merchandising in store:

  • Monthly proposals for change of window design/display (to be reflective of sell-through from the store/seasonal/all. To be a representation of the Emilia Wickstead  ‘eye')
  • Monthly proposals to be signed off with Emilia. Displays to be executed by Bespoke & Design Coordinator.

• Daily discussions with consultants in store to review current client list/quotes/presentations.

• Support and management of technical queries and fabric enquiries from clients

• Provision of seasonal fabric swatches/colour cards for client use

• Monthly meetings with store consultants

• Organisation of deliveries to and from store

  • Deliveries of MTO/MTMB/Bespoke/Bridal
  • Deliveries of fabric swatches/colour cards for clients
  • Return of all alterations completed in house

• Liaising on any technical enquiries relating to the daily alteration of pieces for Private Clients/store walk ins

VIP PROJECTS

• Managing the scheduling of VIP fittings with Emilia and Head Fitter

• Coordinating with Emilia and Head of PR on VIP design offerings

• Communicating on design presentations, fitting schedules, styling and delivery of finished garments.

• Key involvement with our wholesale accounts creative aspect, including pop-ups and installations (from concept to execution and installation.)

MANAGEMENT

• Processing orders from the store: Made to Order/Made to Measure/Bespoke/Bridal

• Overseeing Private Client alterations in house

• Working closely with Head of Atelier to ensure that staffing requirements are met based on shared demands from both RTW and Private Clients.

• Assisting with planning and management of Private Orders critical path

• Liaising with external manufacturers on production of Private Client MTOs sent out of house

• Overseeing production schedules (both in and out of house) and managing schedule of pattern makers and cutters in house

• Managing and coordinating the bridal calendar and schedule with Bridal Machinist and Bridal Manager

• Management of Private Client fitting schedule

• Recording and updating cloth stock level seasonally for Private Client use

FINANCIAL

• Generating quotations within 48 hours of notice for all store enquiries (from Made to Order, Made to Measure, Bespoke and Bridal)

• Private Order costs matrix for the Finance team 

• Initiating strategy for ways in which to increase revenue within Bespoke Department

TECHNICAL

• Tech packs

  • Overseeing and assembling tech packs for all Private Client orders
  • Sourcing and ordering all necessary components for production (trims, binding, fusing etc)

• Providing pattern makers and pattern cutters with a clear technical directive for each project

• Overseeing technical decisions on in house production for Private Clients

• Quality control of garments (both those made in house and by our external manufacturer)

• Overseeing management and archiving of Private Client patterns (MTO/MTMB/Bespoke/Bridal)

• Digitization of Private Client blocks
