Job Description
We are currently seeking a PR Manager who will report to the Head of Communications as part of our growing MCQ London team.
How you will contribute:
- Kering eyewear: be responsible to reach the communications and marketing goals for Kering eyewear in alignment with the MCQ communications plan (VIP, press, social, OOH)
- WS press: be in close contact with key wholesale partners for an aligned comms and marketing strategy to grow and develop across all channels
- Merchandising icons: oversee the development of special projects and merch icons from start to finish with Head of Communications
- Develop and sell-in an effective global VIP and press strategy for men's, women's and icon zero, reflecting the creative vision of the MCQ collective
- Managing and inspire the communication coordinators, taking a proactive approach to talent development
- Close relationship with APAC PR manager to streamlined global strategy consistently executed at a regional level, allowing for creative localised content to meet market needs
- Close relationship with Digital Specialist to streamline strategy
- Strategically develop our brand positioning and awareness through fostering and maintaining excellent relationships among press, media and influencers
- Pitch and present exciting story angles and product placement in line with the brand, in close collaboration with the communication coordinators
- Ensure that press coverage is managed, monitored and evaluated ensuring that ROI is optimised
- Monitor trends within the industry and feed ideas for future development / stories
- Responsible for acting as an ambassador of the brand at all times
- Report to Head of Communications
Your skills and experience
- Extensive PR experience either in-house or agency within peer brands
- Global network of Press & VIP contacts to draw upon with proven experience in building relationships with instrumental players
- Proven experience in creating creative and passionate product stories
- Excellent data and analytical skills to clearly demonstrate the ROI on global activities
- Emotionally intelligent with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns and events in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Team player with proven experience working in an International HQ and partnering with Regions to ensure consistency of message
- Demonstrable track record of executing the full PR mix
- Willing to travel as part of the role
- Must have knowledge within music and streetwear
