Job Details
Reports to: Brand Image Coordinator
The work experience placement is only available to students in tertiary education. There will be no payment for this work experience placement but travel expenses will be covered. The length of placement is 3 months up to 6 months maximum if accredited by your university.
Main functions:
- JWA Workshops / Showrooms / Wholesale spaces: Support the installations and the seasonal/weekly VM changeovers
- Store concept development through digital graphics
- Development of seasonal display props including rails, furniture, jewellery display, mannequins
- Technical specifications
- Suppliers sourcing and ensuring strong communications to build the designed props
- Transport and shipping logistic
- Support the team throughout every aspect of visual merchandising
- Research: Photographic monthly market research
- Printed Collateral: Support the VM team with designs and layouts of various internal and external printed collateral including seasonal VM guidelines and training packs
- Shows: General involvement with set designs of the shows and model dressing under the direction of the RTW design team
- Admin: General admin for the department
- Creative content
- Assisting the Creative Media team generating a variety of content promoting the brand and collections for our social channels.
- Content category includes:Photography, Gifs,Video, Collage, Etc
- Digital content : Support the Creative Media/Digital teams to ensure the website’s imagery is updated on a regular basis; assets reformatting; newsletters graphics development; general brand image across all social platforms
- Social : Support the Creative Media/Digital team with the social calendar scheduling and update
- Visual / Branding : Design and layouts of various internal and external printed collateral; photography of visual assets.
- Advertising campaigns / Lookbooks / Editorial photoshoots / Commissioned shoots
- •General production and logistics involvement leading up to shoots; styling accessories sourcing; design and layouts of brand material
- Archive: Maintaining the visual archive of the company.
- Packaging : Help developing new and efficient Better suited for the product.
Skills and Experience needed:
A knowledge of Sketch up and Adobe Suite would be a plus.
