Design Assistant

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Design and Development team at CRAIG GREEN. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, organised and looking to develop their skills within a dynamic and fast-paced creative environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Design and Development team in the everyday running of the Design department
• Assisting in the sourcing of raw materials in line with the seasonal briefing
• Collating of all raw material information, pricing, MOQ, technical sheets
• Creating detailed 2D CAD illustrations to progress designs through the full development and manufacturing process
• Ensuring all product files are up to date throughout the season
• Assisting in the tracking of all garment samples throughout the design and development process
• Tracking of the development invoices, ensuring all information is correct
• Assisting with the technical pack comments for all styles
• Assisting at supplier trips when necessary during the seasonal development process

Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Good hand sketching and CAD skills
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Must be able to provide examples of technical drawings
• Good technical knowledge of wovens and knitwear
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task 
• Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
