Commercial Finance Analyst

As our business has grown rapidly in both scale and complexity, we are now looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. 

Responsibilities

Work across all areas of the business, acting as a finance business partner, supporting the business to understand and deliver initiatives to improve financial performance

Ad hoc analysis and scenario modelling to inform business decision making

Work closely with Production to drive margin efficiencies, through management of the price setting process and analysis/recommendations on products and suppliers

Assist business to understand performance against budget, and play a key role in the forecasting and budgeting process

Work closely with the Tech team on data reconciliation and reporting improvements, to unlock layers of analysis

Provide support to wider Finance Team as needed, and assist with ad hoc projects and tasks

Challenge the status quo and proactively think of processes which need improvement

Get involved in various projects to ensure Finance, and the wider business, achieves B corp accreditation, and make sure we are challenging ourselves to go above and beyond

Requirements

An accounting qualification (preferably CIMA 2018/19 finalist)

3+ years finance experience in a fast growing, dynamic environment

Business partnering experience, with superb communication and influencing skills

Strong financial modelling and analysis

Comfortable building relationships and proactively working with cross-functional teams

Advanced skills in Excel

Experience working in eCommerce would be a plus

Experience using SQL or Metabase would be beneficial, but not essential
