JOB DESCRIPTION
PR & Marketing Officer
Integral role within the Communications team at ALEXACHUNG acting as a key support to
the Directors in planning and implementing all seasonal brand communications including
strategy, asset creation, VIP & Influencer seeding, press and social media roll out.
Responsibilities:
General
- Act as the first point of call for global press and marketing queries
- Attend and report on industry events relevant to the business
- Collate and disseminate internal reports, editorial credits and meeting minutes
- Liaise with relevant departments to confirm delivery of sample sets for Press, VIP &
Marketing
- Develop and maintain all departmental contact databases
- Research and evaluate brand and competitor activity for strategic planning 
- Contribute and support Directors on generation and implementation of seasonal PR
& marketing communication strategies
- Supporting team with production logistics for brand content shoots including
research, model casting, sample coordination and booking transport
- Maintain and update rolling brand PR & Marketing calendar
- Manage departmental admin & seasonal budget including press subscriptions,
departmental expenses, and processing relevant invoices in a timely manner
- Coordinate all press couriers and deliveries

Press & VIP Relations 
Support PR & Publicity Director with:
- Developing a network of relevant press, stylist and VIP contacts to build brand
database and relationships on behalf of ALEXACHUNG
- The preparation of and distribution of all seasonal press communications
- Generating editorial credits in key media by targeted news and product pitching, and
placement of larger brand features in line with seasonal strategy
- Developing seasonal influencer and VIP seeding programs
- Managing the order and delivery of Press & VIP product seeding at the beginning of
each season
- Media monitoring for ALEXACHUNG brand and VIP/ Influencer placement credits.
- Facilitating sample movement utilising Fashion GPS
- Drafting written assets for approval including press releases, biographies and prepare
monthly product mailers
Alexa Chung Personal Publicity Support
- Act as day-today point of contact for enquiries concerning personal publicity
- Assisting with dressing and logistics around Alexa Chung personal publicity
opportunities and events
- Assist in coordinating with PA on event invitations and diary management
- Support PR & Publicity Director in communications around personal partnerships and
endorsements
- Collate and report on personal editorial
Digital Marketing
Supporting Director of Marketing & Communications with
- Compiling ongoing omni-channel communications strategy
- Planning and scheduling of all social media content
- Scheduling paid social campaign management
- Writing copy for brand social channels

- Community management – maintain dialogue with community across all channels,
responding swiftly to enquiries
- Email marketing strategy & execution
- Paid-influencer campaigns strategy and execution
- Monitoring omni-channel activity, compiling weekly insight reports
Events
- Support in the planning of retail and press events to include updating budgets,
liaising with external partners, production coordination, VIP & guest list management
and post event communications
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Informed in PR, fashion & up to date industry news
- Excellent knowledge of the UK and global fashion media with strong press
contacts across key outlets
- Extremely organised and ability to multi-task with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and plan ahead
- Experience in press event management
- Experience and skill in using the Fashion GPS platform and Microsoft Office
programs including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop desirable, by not essential
