The Role:

We’re looking for a Community Development Coordinator to support our growing community of sellers through account management focused on growth, retention, and seller experience. This role reports to the US Community Development Manager and will be instrumental in supporting our sellers to continue their growth journey with us. 

The role offers an unrivalled opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing start-ups to really stretch and grow your account management skill-set against one of the world's most creative and entrepreneurial communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage relationships with our top performing sellers to drive retention, accelerate their growth, and improve their shop quality. This includes:
    • Utilize data and insights to understand seller performance and develop 1-to-1 programming to drive positive results and help individual sellers grow  
    • Act as direct point of contact for Depop’s most engaged sellers by providing advice and coaching to increase the quality of their listings, as well as escalating time sensitive support related queries to our CX team
    • Facilitate engagement between sellers at scale by planning relevant community discussions and moderating channels in our seller forum. 
  • Work with other internal teams to help sellers succeed:
    • Partner with the Support team to define and implement prioritised support processes for specific groups of sellers
    • Partner with the Curation team to support seller promotion in our product
    • Partner with Product to ensure we are capturing the voice of this community to help us improve our experience
    • Partner with Seller Marketing team on best practice sharing and seller campaigns

Requirements:

  • Data-driven and have demonstrable experience in driving commercial success for clients. 
  • Previous experience within a consumer-facing and/or community-focused business.
  • Proven experience in an account management or business development role.
  • You have clear and structured communication skills, and can be described as motivated and outgoing. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and are able to execute on established processes on time.
  • Ideally familiar with the Depop app and feel comfortable providing advice on best practices.
  • Comfortable working individually and as part of a team with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Passionate about fashion, music, design or the arts, but above all, community-driven platforms.
