ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance & Administration team in Milan. Reporting to the Head of Administration, you will be in charge of the daily management and monitoring of accounting activities.

What you'll do:

• Be responsible for the financial and balance sheet closings (monthly and quaterly) of the Group and for the preparation of the financial statements and consolidated final statements of the Group.
• Manage the relations with external stakeholders (third parties, professionals) involved by the Company, interacting with them in order to ensure an effective and timely practice of accounting and administrative services, including legal and tax issues.
• Ensure the correct and timely execution of the obligations to which the Company is subject, with reference to accounting and administrative practices, legal managment, deadlines for direct and indirect taxes, current regulations on the protection of privacy.
• Coordinate the operational management of the Company's Account Receivable cycle, through the collection of supporting documentation for expenses, the fullfilments forecasted by the contracts stipulated by the Company, the preparation of supplier schedules and payment lists, periodically reconciling the payable balances.
• Supervise the Account Payable cycle of the Company, ensuring the promptly and accurancy of active billing, periodic bank reconciliations, the orderly management of paper and electronic archives owned by the Company.
• Coordinate the management of the tax representations for VAT purposes that the Company has started and will start in the main EU countries and ensure the correct and timely execution of the periodic obligations towards the relevant European Taxes Authorities.
• Be responsible for the financial and balance sheet closings (monthly and quaterly) of the preparations of the financial statements of the Group's companies.

What we're looking for:

• At least 4-5 years of relevant working experience (Consulting Finance, Accouting, Big4), international experience could be a plus
• Proven experience in Accounting and Tax, and extensive understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Proven experience in coordinating and developing a team
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with both internal and external contacts
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to multitask, with solid organizational and time-management skills
• Proactive and able to show initiative to constantly improve finance processes
• Fluency i both in Italian and English (both spoken and written)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision will be an advantage, but not essential
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT
