Customers order online in a few clicks, upload their art or mail it in using Framebridge prepaid packaging, and select from a curated selection of stylish frame choices. Customers can also visit our retail stores in-person where they can get design guidance and drop off their artwork. We custom frame and ship our product directly to the customer in a matter of days, ready to hang.

The Position:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Retail & Customer Experience Operations, the Manager of Retail Operations will lead important improvements to retail operational processes & tools and will provide all needed support to our store teams, with the goal of driving sales and creating an exceptional customer experience. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Washington D.C.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Retail leadership to understand priorities in retail operations and share project updates/progress
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (operations, customer experience, product & engineering, logistics, IT) to support programs essential to store execution and strategic initiatives
  • Lead improvements in retail operational processes and tools to drive sales and enhance customer experience (e.g. operational manuals, in-store point-of-sale technology, omni-channel service offerings)
  • Create and manage store team training materials in collaboration with District Managers and Retail leadership (e.g. communications of new tool features, processes across functions, product launches); oversee updates to materials to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Collaborate with logistics team to arrange and schedule art storage & transportation between stores and factory
  • Provide field team with support in managing store labor hours to optimize sales and meet payroll goals, including assistance with workforce management tools
  • Manage third-party software and vendor relationships that create & improve customer experiences in-store (e.g. in-store music, customer appointments & booking, queueing management, facilities management, phone services, etc.)
  • Maintain and deliver milestone communications to cross-functional partners
  • Support market-wide or store-specific events in coordination with marketing to ensure successful day-of operations
  • Assist new store expansion team with establishing new stores in retail operational procedures and Framebridge systems as needed
  • Some travel required for periodic store visits

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of experience in retail or hospitality industry, particularly with multiple store types and omni-channel store operations
  • Quick and eager learner of new tools, technology, products, and processes
  • Ability to lead broad cross-functional implementation of new processes; effective collaboration skills and the ability to influence
  • Ability to proactively and effectively diagnose problems and identify solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Great project & time-management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable reviewing reports and working with data, including understanding retail KPI metrics
  • An engaging personality with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrates an adaptable, flexible, and entrepreneurial spirit
