Royal Berkshire Shooting School - Groundsman & Trapper
(Permanent Full Time - Located in Pangbourne Berkshire)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As a Trapper, you will be responsible for loading and maintaining the clay pigeon traps, as well as traps on all the shooting towers. An integral part of the role will involve operating manual traps and preserving clean shot guns.
You will have the opportunity to assist with off-site shooting events, ensuring the school grounds are clean and tidy at all times. As a Groundsman you will take ownership over all garden machinery, including a strimmer, lawn mower etc.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
We are seeking individuals who are keen to work outdoors and have previous experience handling machinery within a physically demanding role. You will be highly committed and demonstrate a proactive can-do attitude at all times.
We require someone who is punctual and reliable - willing to be flexible to the business needs and always putting the client first. Having a keen interest in country pursuits and shooting would be beneficial, however not essential.
