Job Description

We are looking for a commercially driven NYC based Marketing Manager with creative flair who is passionate about fashion, culture, art and storytelling our brand projects across all customer touchpoints. The role will ​specialize in digital storytelling in synergy with the content strategy. The candidate will require deep knowledge of the US, key marketing platforms and the ability to identify and track relevant marketing metrics – with a core understanding of website traffic, and online customer engagement.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging brand projects on and offline. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills. Ultimately, you should be able to translate our brand DNA locally and across all projects and platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage key partnerships and execute international projects to the highest standard, working alongside internal teams and external agencies to ensure that our brand is represented in line with our core principles.
  • Work with Head of Marketing to reflect the core brand DNA across all customer touch points and market localizations – overseeing content strategy for all uses incl. social media, editorial, website, e-commerce, newsletters, display, affiliate, special projects.
  • Manage and create editorial and social fashion content and assets to support brand marketing, social media, CRM, e-commerce and PR ​teams. Ensuring assets are shared cross departmentally to ensure that all content is utilized efficiently and cohesively​.
  • Propose and help create fresh opportunities, unique content, brand partnerships and messaging that achieves cut-through in a crowded market to set the brand apart and staying ahead of the curve
  • Develop, executing and maintaining/owning seasonal content calendars, including the 360 Communications calendar and social media calendars work analytically in planning wider marketing initiatives aligning special projects with key brand objectives.
  • Support the retail teams and director with ideas, relationships and project management of events and initiatives to drive traffic to retail stores. You will be the contact with all marketing leads within stores and physical properties
  • Manage briefs and work closely with our creative agency to create engaging assets to support campaigns across all relevant brand platforms
  • Support ecommerce team to plan and maintain newsletters and website content rotation, liaising with development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features.
  • Support the retail teams with ideas, relationships and project management of events and initiatives. to drive traffic to retail stores. You will be the contact with all marketing leads within stores and physical properties
  • Support the wholesale teams with regular touchbases and planning with wsl partner marketing teams to support our clients marketing initiatives promoting GANNI.
  • Set and implement campaigns to align with marketing strategies and maintain brand consistency for marketing promotion, both online and offline.
  • Oversee daily, weekly and monthly content reporting with the business insights team
  • Raise the fashion authority of GANNI by developing a roster of new collaborators alongside the marketing team/Head of Marketing
  • Be a brand ambassador on and offline - building relationships with customers, prospective customers and industry professionals
  • Discovering newness and staying up-to-date with digital technology and trends
     

The Ideal Candidate

  • Be passionate about digital technologies
  • Have proven experience in marketing and social media, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in sector
  • Have sensibility towards Fashion and Luxury sector.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics – core understanding of website traffic, and online customer engagement metrics
  • Highly organized and driven with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Knowledge of marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and across a team
  • BA degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Proven experience of internet / interactive copywriting within the fashion, editorial or related industry.
  • An understanding of the online interactive experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Ideally magazine / editorial experience.
  • Solutions focused approach

You will be reporting into our Global Head of Marketing and our EVP North America. You will be required to travel to Copenhagen when needed for fashion weeks to ensure the smooth running of our show content capture.
