We’re looking for a native-English writer to help take On’s storytelling power to the next level. This new member of the team will bring a passion for all things sports and active lifestyle – and the writing portfolio to prove it.

From day one, you’ll deliver high-impact short- and long-form copy for a range of on- and offline channels. Comfortable thinking about commerce, you’ll help bring our Swiss-engineered products to life by telling stories. You’re able to clearly communicate what our technical innovations do and why our audience should care. And you can craft the headline or tagline that makes them take notice in the first place. 

Your team:

We are a team of writers, campaigners, and social media specialists. At our core, we tell compelling stories about the experiences our technology makes possible. We live to reflect and channel the energy, passion and global nature of the company into our daily work. If you’re bursting with original ideas and have the drive and skills to see them realized, this is the team for you. We might work at desks, but our inner-explorers are constantly seeking fresh ways to craft and create unique stories.

Your mission:

• Bringing the benefits and features of On innovations to life in writing across multiple channels, including on-site, email and print, to tight deadlines.
• Crafting powerful taglines and positioning statements for products and campaigns. 
• Interviewing athletes, ambassadors and experts for long-form articles.
• Working with the research and development teams, use storytelling to explain the technical details of our Swiss-engineered products to On fans.
• Working with freelance writers and translators to bring the On story to a global audience.

Your Story:

• Native English speaker.
• At least 5 years of previous work experience in a writing-focused role, preferably in an advertising or copywriting agency. 
• A passion for writing, a dedication to detail and an understanding of SEO principles.
• Imagination and creativity, able to question and expand on an initial brief.
• A passion for all things sports and active living that’s matched only by your love of writing.
