D-Commerce Copy provides impactful and on-brand text to story tell and elevate product descriptions and visual elements on the digital commerce platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communication teams to deliver a consistent brand tone of voice across all touchpoints.
  • Contribute to continuous evolution of Moncler’s written tone of voice and how that flexes between all digital touchpoints.
  • Create, develop and own all copy elements, writing in an inspiring and editorial tone.
  • Produce content for a range of different channels for daily uploads e.g. homepage content, product descriptions, newsletters; write and update designers’ biographies.
  • Work in collaboration with Product and Communication teams to improve the level of information, quality, and richness of storytelling on product pages.
  • Contribute to new ideas on how to evolve digital editorial with dynamic content.
  • Build productive relationships with D-Comm, Merchandising, Marketing, Style, Digital Media & SEO and other key stakeholders to tell compelling product stories, ensuring copy aligns with priorities and strategic direction.
  • Interface with multiple departments to ensure, externally, a consistent tone of voice and internally, a common technical language
  • Gather regular feedback from analytics teams on the impact of the content, and work to improve storytelling to drive results.
  • Ensure accuracy and fact-check all content. Update and refresh content as needed.
  • Actively participate in creative workshops and product trainings.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of proven creative writing and copy editing experience
  • Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal skills - with a flair for storytelling
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • Experience in fashion e-commerce, editorial or digital media environments  
  • Comfortable flexing the tone between different stories; from mountain lifestyle to fashion, from heritage to innovation.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of fashion, trends, designer collections; understanding of fine garment construction—silhouettes/cuts, garment features, textiles/fabrications, design/tailoring terms, trims and embellishments
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with different digital CMS’.
  • Ability to work with global team and co-ordinate with translators.
  • Attention to detail with good editorial judgement, accuracy and sensitivity
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as an efficient team member
  • SEO familiarity
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
