Job Details

Galvan is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and self-motivated Senior (Digital) Marketing Manager to lead daily global marketing operations with a strong focus on digital marketing. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s multi-channel marketing strategy, from both a brand building and commercial perspective.  You will report to the Head of Marketing and will work closely with the Design, PR, and Sales departments. This is a hands-on role where excellent conceptual and technical as well as organizational and time management skills are as essential as experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-channel marketing strategy together with Marketing leadership
  • Oversee, manage and execute daily marketing operations across all touch points, working in close communication with the PR, Sales and Creative departments
  • Oversee and maintain marketing calendar
  • Plan and manage Galvan’s owned channels; lead on daily decision making for content selection and campaign execution
  • Expand Galvan’s CRM activities and create a cross-channel experience for returning customers
  • Ensure cohesive messaging throughout all communication touchpoints including weekly newsletters, social media, and e-commerce
  • Plan and oversee Galvan’s performance marketing activities (paid search & paid social)
  • Lead Galvan’s agency relationships and ensure effective use of budget
  • Build and manage rolling marketing reporting together with the Finance department
  • Produce creative briefs for content creation; work with the Creative department to ensure all assets are delivered on time and within budget; ensure assets remain on brand and meet quality standards
  • Respond to sales performance on Galvan’s owned channels and develop promotional activities “on the fly” to boost direct sales where required
  • Lead Galvan’s social media activities and supervise state-of-the-art community management
  • Work with the PR department on social media influencer strategy and community building
  • Keep informed on all industry news, key influencers, technical innovations and best practices

     

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the field of digital luxury marketing and ecommerce, ideally with an upcoming fashion brand, marketing agency or online retailer
  • Proven track record of excellent cross-channel campaign design and execution, resulting in swift growth of direct sales and brand recognition
  • Strong skills in performance marketing and deep knowledge of key platforms for paid social and paid search as well as technical campaign setup and monitoring
  • Keen understanding of luxury marketing content and aesthetics
  • Experience with Shopify Plus and automated marketing & CRM suites (like Omnisend)
  • Advanced skills in budget allocation and marketing controlling
  • Deep knowledge and proven track record in data-driven social media & influencer marketing
  • Proven leadership experience (you will manage a small team)
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt emerging concepts and technologies to the brand’s marketing strategy
  • Deep understanding of popular culture, emerging social networks, influencers and celebrities by region
  • Self-starter mentality: a clear sense of initiative, ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast paced, deadline driven environment
